Trinity Park, Far North Queensland
The facility includes a newly added lift for improved accessibility, a tuckshop for student convenience, and a dedicated music room to support the school’s art program.
At the heart of the design is a double-height outdoor assembly and performance space, with a direct connection to a new music learning room, allowing for public performances from within. The performance space is sheltered from the weather by a translucent skin that allows natural light within and is capable of being illuminated at night to create a beacon for the campus. The first floor features two outdoor learning areas that encourage flexible, interactive teaching. These spaces provide a dynamic and flexible setting for group learning and hands-on activities.
These outdoor learning areas form a new connection between existing General Learning Area buildings, improving weather-protected circulation and integrating the new facility seamlessly within the broader campus.
An improved canteen and updated student amenities complete the design, offering improved facilities for students and staff.
