The Quay on Cityport Precinct 10

The Quay is a dramatic and lyrical response to the Cairns waterfront. The elegant white curvilinear towers are designed to float above the tropical waters like a delicate white lotus flower, an appropriate symbol of contemporary Cairns and the tropical coast of North Queensland.

The unique form and architecture of The Quay has been derived from a rigorous analysis of how to optimise spectacular views whilst maintaining maximum privacy and addressing energy efficiency.

The design features 180 dual key apartments, 2 and 3 bedroom units, sub-penthouses and penthouses over 12 storeys on a blue ribbon site overlooking Trinity Inlet, complete with retail and commercial at ground and first level.

This design by CA Architects in association with BVN Architects won the design competition for the site in Cairns now known as Harbour Lights, but was not constructed.
