Surf Park

Australia is set to become the latest destination to build commercial, artificial surf parks. Melbourne will be first, followed closely by Sydney and Perth, with a dozen others also on the drawing board.

The opportunity to develop and run an international standard, high end on land surf park and cabin resort in Cairns, ticks a lot of boxes. Coupled with a high-end cabin resort or short-term luxury accommodation, a wave park will create a destination for tourists and locals alike, and greatly complement the major tourism industry in Far North Queensland, Australia has to offer, making this proposed development one of great significance to the economy.

In 2018 CA Architects researched various wave park offers around the world and created a development proposal that would be suitable to attract interest from government or the private sector.
